Other than blazing social media, How To Get Away With Murder is fancied by a lot of television viewers since it definitely offers a lot. I can attest to that since every episode ends with a cliffhanger like no other. It's that type of cliffhanger that controls minds and makes you say,"Shit! What the hell just happened?! I need another hour or two for this," not the type that will make you wait for tomorrow. This one wont make you deal with the itch of wanting to know what happens next.
For sure, you'll love how Annalise Keating, other than being a strong female character and master manipulator, introduces legal jargon in such a cool way which can likely spark up your interest in going to law school.

The episodes included flashbacks and the present events. The mix of scenarios made the show utterly exciting since it gives out confusion to the situation and questions that need answers to be heard of. For example, the first episode started with the five students trying to hide a dead body but never revealed to whose dead body it was. Later on it revealed that the dead body was Sam's, Annalise husband, who got Lila Standgard (his student) pregnant and got her killed too. Rebecca, who was first accused to be Lila's killer, became Wes' girlfriend. She who sold drugs and looked dangerous so happened to be innocent and was really good friends with Lila.
Other than dealing with that, Annalise, the unbeatable defense attorney, represents the most hardened criminals. The cases include a wife who attempted to murder her husband, a millionaire who is accused of murdering his wife, and a fraud within a major corporation.
Each episode showed who each character was and how their work and decisions changed their fate. Their lives are as interesting as Annalise's. Michaela ended her engagement with her fiance after finding out he and Connor went to boarding school together and leaving him (Connor) say, "I guess we have more in common than I thought." That pissed her off big time.Connor, on the other hand, was able to trade sex with very useful information regarding their handled cases. Laurel was considered as one of Frank's victims aka student of the month. Asher had an affair with Bonnie, Annalise's associate. Then we have Wes who was bullied for being a waitlist in the university but also proved that he is not half bad as they thought he was.
A lot happened over the first season and not all questions were answered by the end of it. There were more to ponder like why did Frank owe Sam? Who killed Rebecca? This show just really makes you want to ask a lot as to how did it happen and what happens next. But then again, how can you not when it was a shocker from the start and very compelling 'til the end?
What I wouldn't forget from the show:
There are three rules to follow if you want to win a case:Discredit the witnesses. Introduce a new suspect. Bury the evidence. To quote Annalise,“We throw so much evidence at the jury that they walk in to the deliberation room with one overwhelming feeling: doubt. That’s how you get away with murder.”.
