IN ALL FAIRNESS

            Look! There I am covering the last day of the org fair! Even though it looks a bit like an after-typhoon coverage.

            The annual UPV Student Organizations Fair (commonly known as org fair) is probably where you get to showcase (or experience) the craziest ideas from our fellow Iskos and Iskas, also where you experience the greatest of stress and withstand the skin-cancer triggering heat. (But still, we all love it anyway.)

            It’s where the entire crazy gather in the almost-Coachella feels of the UPV football field. Take the winner of this year’s org fair—the marriage booth of the UP Miagaoanos for example. Its ingenuity was just wildly entertaining. They had ready a veil, a minister, a gong, all the works of a traditional church wedding. Of course, to seal the deal, they also drafted a marriage contract to go along with the couple rings. Just take a look at how happy the newlyweds are!!

            Not only were our faces filled with laughter but our tummies filled with happiness. Thanks to orgs who sold treats during the fair. From the milk tea booth of the Fisheries Guild, to acad org cupcakes from UP SILAK-SILAB, we were indeed very satisfied.

            *sigh* Is it entirely bad to wish that every week would be like this? It maybe is. Now that it’s over, all we have left are the good memories to fuel us for the next weeks to come. We’re pretty sure it’s going to be more hectic than the president’s Monday schedule. Kudos to the UPV-USC and the CAS-SC for such a successful org fair!
