“Race
start!” This is one of the signatures of the long time running variety show
Running Man. It started year 2009 and continuously airing until now. However,
rumors are spreading that this popular show is going to end. For sure, if this
really happens many people will feel bad including me. So I just want to take
this opportunity to share what I know about this show that makes it lasts for
almost 6 years.
Nametag ripping is the most popular game in
Running Man. Well, obviously it needs physical strength and flexibility.
Another remarkable game is the flying chair where the players need to sit on a
chair and answer the question correctly or do the challenge successfully. When
a wrong answer is given, well you would already know what happens next.  |

Every episode of Running Man has a concept thus
where all the challenges are connected to. One of my favorite concepts of
Running Man is the “Flower Boy Competition” with Kim Soo Hyun and Lee Hyun Woo
as guests. Well, aside from the natural flaws of the Running Man Members,
famous celebrities also have their own.
And
the most important ingredients of a variety show are the characters. For so
many programs that I have seen, Running Man is the only one that put on
varieties of personality in one show. Every person has its trademark and unique
characterization. Who would even think that they can work and get along well?

Regardless
of whether the rumors that Running Man will end on its 6th year, one
thing is for sure. The laughter and cheerful moments they have shown to its
audiences will never end. The race in Running Man will end for them but it is
just the start of their life’s race. With the popularity they have gained for
almost 6 years enable them to well establish their names. More project offers,
the higher the chance we can see them again working together.
Running Man is,indeed, a manifestation of human ingenuity. Kudos to the director, crew, and casts of the said variety show. But is is so depressing to know that Running Man is going to end. Nonetheless, it has painted smiles on people's faces through their playful yet cheerful episodes.

ReplyDeleteThis show is our stress reliever. Our family enjoys watching every episode because it makes us laugh to death. I’m not joking. Whatever episode you watch, I’m sure you’ll have fun. Hoping rumors of it ending isn’t true. Yoomes Bond, Big Nose, Commander, Ace Meong Ji, Gaeli-gaeli, Haroro and Asia Prince Kwangsoo continue to make us happy every week! (Still waiting for our flower boy Joongki to be back!)

Running Man is one of my favorite K-variety shows! Is it really ending? That would be a big minus to my fun weekends. Anyway, we have the same fave episode author-nim! I enjoyed the "Flower Boy Competition" so much!
